Most family offices tend to focus 95% of their time and people on the asset and wealth management, meaning they are more or less asset managers under a family office brand.

Our primary focus, however, is on every other part of our client’s lives, where we apply our innate understanding, empathy and our skill sets to remove the stress related to day to day activities; the result of this is that clients have a lot more time to spend on larger decisions related to their wealth, business, assets and their family.

Michael Burke

Owner & Managing Director

An entrepreneur at heart, Michael has been a business owner and philanthropist for over 18 years, with much of his recent experience being in achieving commercial success in challenging economic environments across UAE, Switzerland, GCC, ME, Europe, and Africa. In that time, he has established and led groups of companies with complex service offerings, multiple divisions and diverse employee backgrounds. A bilinguist, outside of vision setting for the business, Michael has completed a number of ultra-marathons, worked with the Irish Embassy to fund construction of a school in Africa, and holds a BSC Hons. in Economics & Finance from University College Dublin.

Ives Caracuzzi

Business Development Director

Founding Partner and Head of Wealth Management for Kometa 1618, Ives has over 25 years of global private banking experience with international banks such as Banque Indosuez, Banca Leonardo, UBS, Credit Suisse, EFG Bank and Julius Baer. With Banca Leonardo and EFG bank, Ives specialised in customised mandates for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and was Model Manager of Institutional Business Development.

A keen traveller, Ives’ passions lie in the study of Economics, Finance, Marketing, as well as Art, Architecture and Design.

Craig Leyland

Chief Finance & Operations Officer

A senior finance and operational executive with over 25 years’ experience across multiple industries, in large global enterprises and smaller owner managed and investor lead organizations with successful impact on organisational transformation, establishing financial control, strategy development and leadership stabilization with diverse international teams, operating and delivering at C suite and detailed levels. Assad Abdullatiff

Director

Assad is Managing Director and one of the founding partners of AXIS Fiduciary Ltd, a leading Mauritius-based independent trust company providing a full spectrum of fiduciary and corporate services to an international client base.
